"Preach the gospel at all times. If necessary, use words."

I'm staying home from church today because Jonathan has a bad cold and can't go.  Our church is having six baptisms today, so I'm kind of sorry to miss that.  But I've already heard, or rather seen, a great sermon this morning.

It's based on the text from Philippians 2:4:
"Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

To watch this wonderful sermon in action, click the link below (photo doesn't link):

Follow-up:  after some googling, found out these little heroes' names:
#1 Cory Steadman and his supportive teammate, #2 Ricco ("Rocket") VanArragon.

  1. Standing ovation for these little guys! Wow. I was blessed by that, Jeannie. :)

    1. Thanks, Adriana. I keep re-watching that video: there's just something very special about that little #2 guy so patiently supporting his friend -- doing all the background stuff (picking up puck, putting it in proper spot, keeping other kids away) to help #1 succeed. Like Sam helping Frodo!

    P.S. Praying for Jonathan's recovery!

    1. Yes well I just added it to my comment on your blog, so now you can blubber like a baby just like I did.

Jonathan's main problem is his nose -- leading to me calling him various names like Snottosaurus, Snotsky and Hutch ... need I say more.

      Thanks for the prayers!
