Not me! :-) Have you seen this movie, Tim? I really enjoyed it. It has the Dowager Countess AND Isobel Crawley, both in quite different roles than we're used to!
This is a quip of wonder and amazement - it lifts us from out of a problem and into life with a better view. Thanks, Jeannie, for this. (A wonderful movie too. I loved it!)
It's actually very much like that, Adriana, just more contemporary. Each character has to determine how they will let the sights and sounds and people of India affect them: will they enter into the experience & be changed, or withdraw? So I think you would like it.
And I like your pastor's quote. It gives us hope!!!

Who knew that movie was based on the Book of Revelation? ;-)

Thanks, Sarah! Rich & I just watched the movie last weekend & really enjoyed it too. So many great actors!
DeleteThis reminds me of something my childhood pastor used to say frequently: "Your present condition is not your final condition." :-)
ReplyDeleteI think I might like this movie. Is it a bit like Enchanted April?
