Thank you for the encouragement in that quotation, and in your words about my writing; I'm truly honoured by your friendship and happy to have this reminder of it today. Love to you and Connie and your family.Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15590153368194137758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1761080938810306228.post-29291457305622050712013-06-05T17:20:13.335-04:002013-06-05T17:20:13.335-04:00G'day Jeannie!

He says: "she never once saw her mission as something to be accomplished ..." Rather, it was something to be lived; her mission was to find a dwelling place and be at home there.
Your writing ... whether published or blogged or however ... is part of what makes up your dwelling place, I'd say; and yes, it's beautifully evident that you are at home there.
Thanks, eh.
billvgAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1761080938810306228.post-82469353750806839452013-06-04T11:42:03.818-04:002013-06-04T11:42:03.818-04:00I agree, Tim. When God told Zechariah that, He was not just saying "Be patient" but "This is how I work; pay attention!"

Or as they say nowadays, "Hey, that's how I roll."Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15590153368194137758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1761080938810306228.post-70938943948548260472013-06-04T11:35:19.994-04:002013-06-04T11:35:19.994-04:00The day of small things - what a great way to remi...The day of small things - what a great way to remind us that God is with us always. And that passage in Zechariah must have been a comfort and encouragement to those rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem, knowing that even though it seemed like it was taking forever God was with them and had promised to bring the work to completion by his Spirit.

Cheers,
Tim

It's a lot like that for us today, as we live out the kingdom work God has given us each day. So glad he's with us!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
